HOW DO I ORDER CUSTOM COOKIES?

Just fill out the custom order inquiry form, and I will get back to you within 2-3 business days! All bookings are dependent on availability, and filling out the form does not guarantee your order. Once we solidify the details, you will receive an email invoice.

HOW MANY COOKIES CAN I ORDER?

I require a 1 dozen (12 cookie) minimum per order. Additional cookies do not have to be in multiples of 12.

WHERE DO I PICK UP MY COOKIES?

Smør Cookies is based in Victoria, MN, near the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Address for pickup will be provided when payment is received. No refunds will be issued for no shows, but I’d be happy to coordinate an alternate pickup date.

Under Cottage Food Law, orders are for local pickup only and cannot be shipped.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

Payment can be made via credit card or ACH transfer as noted on the invoice. Orders are not confirmed until payment is received in full.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER?

Please send a message as soon as you have changes in your order. Refunds will be granted on a case-by-case basis if notified more than two weeks in advance. No refunds will be given to orders canceled within two weeks of the pick-up date.

WHAT IF THE THEME OF MY EVENT CHANGES?

Let me know as soon as possible, and I will do my best to accommodate the changes. Typically, I’ll be able to adjust if I’m made aware at least 1 week before the event, although slight adjustments might need to be made to the initial plan.

WILL THE COOKIES MATCH MY DECOR EXACTLY?

While I will do my best to color match your theme, I cannot guarantee an exact match due to circumstances out of my control.

HOW WILL MY COOKIES BE PACKAGED?

Custom cookies will be individually heat sealed and packaged in a bakery box. Special packaging requests will incur an additional fee.

CAN I STORE MY COOKIES FOR LATER?

Heat sealed cookies stay fresh for 2-3 weeks on the counter at room temperature. Cookies may be frozen in an airtight container for up to 3 months. From frozen, cookies must be thawed in the airtight container for 4 hours or until they reach room temperature. Opening the container early may affect the royal icing design.

WHAT IF MY COOKIES GET DAMAGED?

Smør Cookies handles your cookies with care throughout the baking and decorating process. We do not assume responsibility for the cookies once they are picked up.

CAN YOU SHIP COOKIES TO ANOTHER STATE?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to any state, including Minnesota, under Minnesota Cottage Food Law.

WHAT IF I NEED MY COOKIES IN A RUSH?

We kindly ask for 2 weeks advance notice when booking. Depending on availability, I may be able to accommodate a rush order. Orders requested within 2 weeks of the due date may incur a rush fee.

CAN I EAT THESE COOKIES IF I HAVE AN ALLERGY?

All cookies are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the state health department. While I offer gluten-free and nut-free options and do my best to avoid cross-contamination, I cannot guarantee that my cookies are safe for those with severe allergies.

ARE YOU REGISTERED WITH THE STATE?

Yes! I am a Cottage Food Producer licensed by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. My license number is 20273975.
